15 High Paying Weekend Jobs That Makes Good Money

15 High Paying Weekend Jobs That Makes Good Money

Having a jam-packed work-week does not mean you cannot pull-off some extra income by working on part-time weekend jobs.

In fact, there are plenty of ways you can do so.

You just have to try and figure out what resonates with you based on your qualifications, area of interest, and your available time.

I started this blog as a side thing back in college, where I would write publish articles on the weekends or whenever I got time.

Fast forward two years later, this blog became my primary income source.

This is one of the great reasons to pursue some of these part-time side jobs, they can be turned into full-time careers depending on how much work you’re willing to put into it.

For example, many successful bloggers make over $100,000 every single month from their blogs. Talk about lucrative professions!

But too many people simply throw away the idea of making extra income on the weekends because they think it’s not worth their leisure time, they think it is difficult to start or it is too time-consuming.

And if you currently working a full-time job, it might help you transition from your soul-sucking 9 to 5 job to working full-time from home.

What makes for a good part-time weekend job?

While searching for such jobs, you’ll come across more job options than you can even comprehend. But choosing the one might not be very easy.

So it is quite important to weigh all the factors to decide which one you would like to pursue. It is necessary to look for jobs that:

  1. Is 100% legit (obviously)
  2. Has a good income potential
  3. Offers location flexibility
  4. Offers time flexibility
  5. Does not require some high-profile credentials
  6. Costs none to little to get started

It is completely up to you if you want to consider all the factors mentioned or you can manage without one or two.

Either way, if you want to make good use of your weekends to make some bank, below are 20 job/income opportunities (that are 100% legitimate) you can utilize to make extra income on the weekends or any other free time in general.

1. Make Money Blogging

20 High Paying Weekend Jobs That Makes Good Money (up to $5000/month)

Throughout this blog, whenever there is any mention of “making money”, I have always put “Blogging” within the first five listed ways to do so.

Why? Because this is what I do and I absolutely love it!

But before anything else, let us have a chat about what is a blog and who is a blogger?

Well, a blog is a website that contains a number of articles or posts that revolve around a certain topic or a number of topics. And a blogger is someone who manages the blog, creates content, and update existing ones.

This is a great way to start making money because here, you’ll be your own boss, you create content around the stuff that you personally like, and also, you get to set your own working hours.

When it comes to the money-making part, there are quite a few ways you can do so. You can monetize your blog by:

  • Display Ads (Like the ones you see floating around this page)
  • Affiliate marketing (Making money by promoting products and services of others)
  • Sponsered post (Creating posts about a brand or company who’ll pay you to do so)
  • Online courses (You can sell your own courses)
  • Other consulting services

How can you get started?

To get started, first, you will have to think of a name for your blog (domain name). For example, the domain name of this blog is Prosmartrepreneur.com, similarly, you’ll have to come up with a blog name.

Try to think of a name that reflects the topic/niche of the blog. If your blog will be about cooking and recipes, you can name it KathysKitchen.com or something crazy like HolyMolyGuacamole.com, it is completely up to you.

Alternatively, you can name your blog after your full name, (First name)(Surname).com.

If you already have something in mind, let us check it out if it is available or not –

If the entered domain name is not available, find out who took it, call them and say – I will find you and I will kilJust kidding! Please don’t do that!

Here you have no choice but to try out different names and word combinations until you get something that is relevant and available, sorry.

If the domain name you entered is available, TAKE IT! You have to register it as soon as possible because it might not be available tomorrow, or ever. Domain names are volatile like that.

One moment, AVAILABLE, in another moment, gone!

So if your domain name is available, check out this article where you can set up your blog with this step-by-step guide that’ll take you no more than 20 minutes.

And don’t worry, the process is quite beginner-friendly, and you don’t really need any technical skills to set up your blog. The process so easy, even your grandma can do it!
